This sign was over the toilet in my hospital room. One shudders to think what they'd do to me if I flushed urine or a BM down it....

The thing that frightens me is that they'd need to post it to begin with. I mean, who would flush a wash cloth, or even a paper product thicker than a tissue, and think that consequences would not ensue? Honestly folks, hospital toilets are no more magical wet black hole disposals than your home toilet.

I hope they charge a patient's hospital bill if they have to haul in maintenance to unstop a toilet for the posted reason. At hospital-bill prices (IOW, $30 for a Tylenol.)

When we moved into a new home, we had to have the septic system cleaned. It's amazing what people flush down their toilets.

Well that's better than the signs in our local public toilets, warning people not to drink from them.
