Update on the kitten

Shadow is still at the vets. He continues to run a fever, and it's higher than they would like. He started another course of antibiotics today

Oh, dear, I thought Shadow was out of the woods. I really hope he's better soon. He'll most certainly be in my thoughts.

And, yes, you have to be very careful with floss. My husband and I use trash containers with lids and fold and knot the floss before throwing it away just to be on the safe side. Ours aren't puppies anymore, but with dogs that sort of behavior never goes away.

Best wishes for the kitty! It all gets so expensive, but they're part of the family, what else can you do.

When it rains it pours, know about those vet bills. I had one balloon up to sizable amount once...had to take out a loan to pay it off.

Poor Shadow! I thought he was all better. I'm really sorry to hear he's having such a tough time. Ouch, those bills:(
