I love it. I want it. You did a great job.

Only difference is, your sliding color seems to be a bit daker & yours is faster.

You did a great job!!! I think the tutorial was way too long for my liking..things were done the hard way a lot too

I agree.I think some steps can be taken out , because with me I always liked to have the bg ready & then put the picture on top of that.Which would still be okay since you can paste as a new layer.So I think most of the steps of making the pic / bg / whatever invisible / visible can be cut out to make it shorter.
