Holiday Cheer

Sometimes it's really cool to see immediate family in random places. My dad works for a roofing company here in Morehead and often works jobs on campus. I hauled my lazy butt out of bed to go to work early this morning and was surprised to hear "Sara 'Cole!" shouted from the top of the building behind the President's house. G-town's iced already. I got bombarded by tiny, sharp hail on the way back to Collier. No slips yet, though, and hopefully it'll be gone by the weekend, when I go back home myself. Pre-finals break for me.

How've you been? I've neglected keeping in touch with you, and I apologize for that. And I'm sorry for being unaware of your being victimized by espionage back then. I never knew... :(

Matthew (my brother) and I are probably going to venture out to some theater to view this Narnia business as well. I've never been properly introduced to that realm, so perhaps it will spark a new interest. I'm starting to feel the itch of Dune setting in again, so I'll probably be scouring some files for ebook copies of a few of Herbert's later works that I had. That also gets me thinking of the new Prince of Persia title. I enjoy Arabic myths, be they indigenous or original or modern and highly... filtered, I guess. I'm rather beat, so I'm going to try to kick back for a while...

Hey! It's great to hear from you. I am not as attentive to my friends as I would like to be, so I also apologize for my lapse in communication. I hope you avoided the trechery of the ice. We didn't receive any significant snow from this weather but the back roads were apparently icy enough to close Rowan public schools for the day. Morehead State marches on ( ... )
