Yesterday, my mum tried to give me the sex talk.

What made it funnier is that she was trying to get to the topic by using all of these hypothetical and third-person scenarios until I finally said "mum please, this is not the first time. If I was going to run into trouble, it would have been years ago".

I don't even know why parents try to give the sex talk. Everyone I know was well and firmly aware of the mechanics if not putting them into practice by the time their parents sat them down. You learn most everything that you need to know thru friends, the internet and having sex, not thru those awkward talks!!! If I ever have children (lol) I'm just not gonna bother. They'll figure it out. And if they don't figure out, they shouldn't be having sex.
