I was installing Publisher and it said that there were trial versions of some programs on the comp and that in order to install Publisher, it needed to get rid of the trial versions. I didn't think that Word/Excel/etc. were trial versions, so I said sure, do what you need to do to install Publisher. Well, it got rid of what it needed to get rid of, and when it was installing Publisher, it said that it needed to make a new folder called "Microsoft Office," and I thought that was strange b/c there was already a MO folder, or so I thought. When I checked, I saw that the MO folder that was there prior to all this wasn't there any longer, and that combined w\ the fact that the MO icons weren't on the desktop made me realize my boo-boo! We have MO '97 that I've installed since then, but it sucks b/c it's a lower version than what we had, which was installed by the comp fix-it shop or something like that. So yeah, that's how I uninstalled only Microsoft Office! lol
