Backpacking and porches

When I grow up, I want to be somewhere with a burbling brook within easy walking distance and to have the time to enjoy it.

I also want a front porch. The open kind, where you can sit on rocking chairs in the evening and watch the people pass by and talk with them.

my friends down the block used to have this huge porch with a big swing. it was where we all used to hang out, but it got torn down. I really miss it.
