Sometimes I really hate my school.
Got my financial aid statement for next year in the mail today. They took away 5k in subsidized loans and my Work-Study status (worth 2k more). Plus they raised the cost of going there by 1k. Where am I supposed to find $8000 more?

I know this sounds silly, but try calling up the office and talking to them. A lot of the time they'll give you more money once you're dealing with them on an individual basis.

I'll try. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with them, and they know it, so they might not be as nice as they were last year.
