wow I had absolutely no idea. it comes out on my birthday even. what a nice 21st birthday present from Tolkiens son, Christopher.

wow crazy, I had no idea, but I'm happy that he took so long to make it, I'm sure he has tried to keep the writing style as similar to J.R.R. as possible, and all this really means is another movie I'm sure.. ^_^

ummm.... it was never made to really be a "book" when he was writing it... most of the stuff in it is actualy taken from before he wrote LORT... it's part of the whole story of the world he created(its not a 4th LOTR)... his son just is just putting together all of his notes into a story, it supposedly reads a lot like a history book, much like the simirillion... or untold stories(two other books by Tolkien and edited by his son)

but ya, fucking awesome!
