Galen and I are back in Tokyo. We'll be at the Khaosan Annex for at least the next five nights.

Matsumoto and Hakuba were awesome. We hiked up a snow field, checked out a 400 year old castle, and saw some cool parks and stuff. I'll post pictures on Facebook soon. Some from Hakuba are already up.

I just got an email informing me that my Grandpa has died. It's not too much of a surprise. He was in pretty bad shape. For pretty much as long as I can remember he'd been a cranky old drunk.
