dog question

My friends have a puppy who's about 16 weeks old and weighs 5.5 lb. He's a mutt who looks a bit like a chihuahua and a bit like a shiba inu, and he's gained about half a pound in the 3-4 weeks they've had him. I have very little experience with puppies that young, and none at all with toy dogs. Does anyone have a guess at how big he's likely to get

How big are his paws?

Usually with small dogs you weight them at six weeks, double that, then double it again and that's their adult weight... so 4 pounds at 6 weeks will be 16 pounds full grown.

Hmmm, that's helpful! I don't know how big he was at 6 weeks, but maybe his owners do. :)

Yeah, and I'm sort of hoping he gets to that size so he can wrestle with my dogs (45-ish lbs each, and likely to bowl over tiny dogs without meaning to), but it's hard to tell.

Nothing of use, but:

If he gets real big, is he going to be named Little Bear? :P
