Because I don't feel like working out how to post this through Ravelry tonight. (Note that this might not be a completely accurate pattern at this time, so use it at your own risk. I wanted to write down what I did before I forget anymore of it, but I have not tested it since the writing. Pictures to come soon, I hope.)

I am ridiculously proud of this thing, and since this one is a gift, I am sooooooo gonna make another one so I can keep it. But possibly in yellow-green-turquoise instead of yellow-orange-red, because I prefer it to not clash with everything else I own.
