I just discovered that one can buy vision correcting swim goggles for about $20 a pair. See? Right here. I am positively giddy at the thought of being able to see what's ahead of me when I swim laps. (Yes, contacts, I know, but I've never yet been able to keep water from getting into my goggles so I don't think that's a good option for me.)

Yes! Swimming! That sounds awesome!

I've never had the water leakage, but my goggles are also super tight around my face to the point of leaving marks. On the other hand, seeing that drop in the deep end always freaks me out a bit.

I tried to go swimming today! Apparently I paid $20 for $140-worth of lost pool entry cards. And my goggles went missing. I'm going to look for those and try again soon
