Oh, god, that is not what that means anymore.
I sat down tonight to read some of the Kirby/Simon Romance comics from way back in the day. The first story? "Back Door Love." All about a woman who falls for the wrong man. He is, apparently, a dead beat, but that is so not where I thought that terminology was going.
In other news, I continue to have the most juvenile sense of humor of all time. -
I am accomplished and shit!
My first Yuletide story is out for beta!
My portfolio is all wrapped up!
I only have to finish a single (beloved) project by Monday!
My second Yuletide story is at appropriate word count and growing!
And now, to spend the night doing not a goddamn thing (and drinking). -
Yeah, the Power Rangers fic broke 12,000 words.
And I think that's just the end of the first act. If you follow screenwriting guidelines, the second act is twice the size of the first act, and the third act is about the same size as the first act. Um. Guys. Help.
The Power Rangers fic just broke 10k and the moon has not yet been blown up. It hasn't even been mentioned.
So, the big question: Who is gonna beta this for me as is right now to tell me if it sucks? It's Billy/Rocky, and I am making an attempt at depth. -

Do you think if we start a petition they'll finally do it? Sooooo good.
