For those that wonder...

Some of you know I used to be a Jehovah's Witness.
Well another ex-JW friend of mine sent me this, and damn if it ain't true.

• At age 46 you will be voting for the first time in your life.
• You just realized you spent the last 25 years on the JW support
system because you were "brain dead."
• You recall being told that your personal problems were because you
were "spiritually weak."
• Entertainment for you was attending a potluck where "sisters"
cooked fascinating things containing the
words "surprise" and "delight" in the names.
• You had nightmares for years about the gruesome illustrations
contained in the JW literature.
• You still sometimes find yourself staring into space and nodding
enthusiastically but later can't recall a
single word of what was said.
• Family vacation meant going to an assembly and baking in the
sweltering sun for three days.
• The number 144,000 produces thoughts of heaven and you refuse to
buy anything costing $6.66.
• You've been told not to wear or do something because it
was "worldly."
• As a child, you dreaded summers and weekends (`cause all your
friends were at school).
• You learned to lie so well; you're sure you could beat a polygraph
machine.
• Prayers before meals lasted so long that by the time you ate, your
food was considered a health hazard.
• You never saw ET, Casper the Friendly Ghost, Scooby Doo, or The
Smurfs because they were evil.
• After reading this list you don't know whether to laugh
hysterically or break down into tears.
