I have just passed a house with a large berry bush beside it on route 30.

Can anyone tell me if these berries are edible for people, or only Pokemon? I recall one friend eating one and being ill, but some of them look different and I'm curious to see if it was just that kind as opposed to all of them.

[Look who's totally stalking following after you, Ren. He's not going to bother asking you to wait though, he'll just run to catch you up.]

[Poppo gave Ren a heads up, so he knew he was being followed, but he isn't quite a mind reader so Ren didn't know who in particular it was.

Well. He had a pretty good idea at least.

Smirking faintly, he gave Poppo a boost to get into the air again as he waited with Elekid at the far end of a large grassy field.]

Poppo, whirlwind.

[Stops just a few feet behind, thinking it best not to disturb his father's training, so he waits quietly with keen interest. Tai, however, has no such thoughts and rushes to tackle Elekid into a hug from behind.]

[Poppo chirps before flapping his wings sharply, easily creating a little whirlwind that raced in a straight line through the grass. Out starts a couple other Pidgey!

Ren turned to look down at Elekid and give him a signal, but spying the Pichu from the distance had him smirking and looking up to Poppo instead.]

Poppo, quick attack!

[Elekid had looked ready, and gave his trainer an odd look before getting tackled from behind.] Bee!

[Well, Jeanne managed to sneak off, sure that Lyserg had his hands full with Hana and wouldn't need anyone else to take up his time. So.... perhaps she could make some progress in this front!]

Ren...?

[Glancing back when his named was called, Poppo continued on with a whirlwind attack. As it flushed out a few other Pidgey, Elekid darted forward to take care of them with a thundershock, not waiting for orders since they have been working together in doing this for a good twenty minutes now.

He wasn't expecting Jeanne to have followed him though, and couldn't help a slightly surprised look.]

Oh!

[And she was just as surprised as he when she noticed that he seemed to be in the middle of something. To that, she tried to remain courteous.]

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt you.

[Only taking a glance back to monitor his Pokemon, they were doing fine so he turned completely with a soft shake of his head.]

It's fine, you aren't interrupting. I didn't realize you came after me.

Don't think so.

[Of course, Heather's no nature girl, so while there probably actually ARE edible berries out there somewhere, she wouldn't know them if they danced around in front of her in tutus and sang opera.]

Hm.. If you hear anything different, I'd appreciate if you let me know. My name is Ren Tao.

Do NOT eat the berries. Pokemon to eat them, humans cannot. And Straw-Hat spent awhile hallucinating before vomiting all over the place.

That's what Straw-Hat did. He saw his monkey eat one and then assumed it was safe since it was safe for the other monkey.

The ones I've tried do, and unless you'd like to be the test subject for the rest of them I'd suggest against trying any. It's not worth it.
