I've done everything I can do, if there was anything else I could do, trust me I would. But Rukia's her own person and she's going to make her own decisions. There's nothing I can do that will make her change her mind, so all that's left is for me to complain in my journal about it. Pretty lame I guess.

I don't mean to make you sound weak or anything, but to be honest, I don't think you could protect her there either. I don't think anyone could. But it's just something she has to do, you know? Haven't you ever had something like that?
You're not gonna change her mind, and if you did, she'd resent you for it. So let her do her thing, and be there for her when she gets back. Yelling at her now will only distract her more while she's there.
I know you hate it and I hate it too, but I can't think of anything else to do right now. She's well aware of the possible consequences, and she's chosen to risk it all anyway. There are only so many things you can say to someone with that kind of resolve before they begin hating you for saying them.

Look, I understand that Rukia's her own person and that trying to keep her from going is compromising her independence and all that, but I really just don't understand why she needs to see him so badly. As far as I'm concerned he's just another enemy and if she thought that way too she'd feel a whole lot better about all this and she wouldn't put herself in such danger.

I don't get it either, to be honest, but there's some history or something there that she's not sharing, and I get the impression that right now it's just something she's got to do. It sucks, yeah, but I assume a bunch of people have already tried talking her out of it, and she's not listening. All we can do now is help.
I'm not gonna stop, I won't stop worrying about you Rukia. If anything were to happen to you in Hueco Mundo I.....I don't know what I'd do. I just hate this.
I understand that, but getting yourself worked up over it isn't going to help anyone. This is something I have to do and that I'm going to do. Use all of that extra energy and fuel it into your training.
*sigh* I know that you're gonna go no matter what, and I as much as I absolutely *hate* the thought of you alone over there, surrounded by our enemies, I have to respect the fact that you have to go. I can see how important this is to you, so I'm gonna just leave it alone and try and support you. Just make sure you come back safe.

It is stupid of her to put herself in this much danger, but it's just something she has to do I guess. At least that's what I have to keep telling myself.
