Book Fillers

 Some books in a series seem like sausage. Taste pretty good but you might not want to know what's in it. Unfortunately, with a book as you read it you come across those pork lips and cow ears you would rather not know about. I loved your analogy. I'm not familiar with Katie MacAlister's books, I've never read them so I can't say much about that :(
I hate it when I read and in the end it wasn't worth it at all in the end, particularly when I bought the book. Then it's a waste of time and money.

I'm cheap and got mine at a used book place $2 for the first two books and $7 for the second two. The main "hottie" dragon was way cooler in the first book. Totally arrogant of course but it was fun watching her attempts to break him as her life spun of out supernatural control.
