Oh, thank the heavens. I finally got an entire day to myself.... :) Yesterday, I slept in, ate leftovers, napped, ate some more leftovers, watched two disks of Angel (and still am faintly baffled by Angel's presence in the last -next to last?- episode of Buffy, because his demeanor almost is as if nothing had ever happened with Cordy, never mind

I think the two shows might have been on different networks at the time, so mixing the plots wouldn't go over well with either of them.

Except for that one episode at the end, the story lines do actually overlap. Even in that last season, when Willow goes to LA to help out and when Faith busts out of prison (Angel) and then arrives in Sunnydale (Buffy), the timing all makes sense....
