Of dog vomit, legos, and talk radio

I had forgotten what it was like to be a 6 year old boy. Okay - so I guess I'm a girl, but when I was six I wanted to be a boy. It was all that late seventies - girl power, you can be anything you want to be that my mommy and daddy pumped into me. It was only later when I sucked at sports that my dad moved on to making my younger sister in to the ( Read more... )

Oh there was vomit - where there is pupalup on a road trip, there is vomit. In fact there is still vomit as I need a cleaner of some sort to remove it.

Defiantly something to look forward to. Your wee one watches and knows, she's bound to turn out at least as wonderful as her parents. Nothing wrong with keeping it simple. Your more likely to actually follow it that way. Very authoritative of you, I must say.

I haven't forgotten what it was like to be a 6 year old boy. I used to play with Legos for hours on end, and matchbox cars, and micromachines, and such things. My room at my mother's house is still full of a great deal of Star Wars statues, posters, etc. I'm strongly considering getting that Star Wars Lego game, if only for the novelty of it.

Nowadays, I make spaceship noises while driving my car, say "Weeee!" occasionally when going over a hill, and have been known to make a noise similar to "Pow! Pow!" when discussing watching or playing Western games.

Also, I have a Loose Seal on my dresser. Thanks again for that, to you and your man.

I'm glad Loose Seal has a nice home now. You should take her on a trip to the beach some day.

The husband makes spaceship noises while driving as well. He also drives as if the car were a spaceship. This requires theme music and dramatic maneuvering. We don't let him drive so much.
