Hey- quick question- anyone know where one can obatin kohl for eye makeup?

I'm probably going to need some for SCAdia in the next three weeks or so

I had a dream you found a kohl stick in an egyptian ruin. but that's not very helpful.

have you tried belly dance shops, ot some thing like community aid abroard or oxfam?

Failing that use a cheap black eye liner that you can gt and any make up outlet. just don't use it sharp, blunt give best effects IMHO.

actual Kohl? Did you check Minifies?
Failing that, there is bound to be a store that sells all manner of indian goods (asian food warehouse?) that may at least be able to point you into the right direction!

thanks people- I managed to track some down this afternoon at the indian Supermarket on Durham st.

The kohl is the proper stuff and only $3 :)
plus they have a load of useful spices and flours i have never heard of and i think that they are sellers for the now defunct Indian Emporium that used to be on Karangahape road in Auckland.
