The storage cart I will pack my room up in next year when we have to rotate classrooms because of the year round system. Really the ONLY downside to this particular job. Otherwise I love it so far.
They are building a gym/community center that is attached to our school. We'll be sharing it with the community. Needless to say, it's not done yet. :)

The school is HUGE. Most of the lower el has 5-6 classes per grade and then the upper el has 4-5. There are 715 kids. I just can't believe it sometimes how much of a hike it is from the front door to my room. Thankfully (as of right now) I only have 22. I'm waiting for more to show up on Mon, but I'm really hoping they don't.
I've got a ton of planning done. Granted, I still have a ton to do, but I'm excited and not nearly as nervous about that part. I'm most nervous about the classroom management. But we'll see!!!!
