Both of you are in my prayers for recovery, and your family in general for smooth coping. Please let the COL know if he needs anything, to yell.

Thanks, hon! We are okay for now, and hopefully the surgery will be smooth and I will be back home next day!

Am keeping fingers crossed for all of you. Gall Bladder surgery at least is much less intrusive than it used to be so hopefully you won't be out for the count for too long.

Thanks! My friends husband just had his removed and he actually went to work the next day. I'm not too concerned about Thanksgiving, but hope to feel good again before Robin's play in two weeks.

I will remember her in my prayers. Gods, there's so many people in the "aid and healing" part of my prayers right now...

And also you. I sympathize- I have something up in my gut right now, and I'm getting an ultrasound next week to see if it's gallstones...

::hugs::

My gallstones were pretty mild. I had one night of up-under-the-right-ribs real discomfort, not bad enough to go to the hospital, but enough so that I got no sleep for hours and out of the ordinary enough to make me see the doctor. Ultrasound showed stones, so the recommendation was to lose the gallbladder, as apparently they typically get worse rather than better. I hope your diagnosis is much simpler, pal, wish you the best! (And let me know how your check up goes...)
