Just over a year now
It's been a year and a week since I moved out here, and it doesn't feel like any time has passed at all. I still feel like a tourist. -

So it's been almost two months since I moved to San Francisco, and things have been going well. I have a job offer that I won't write about just yet because it's not a sure thing...but boy, would it be amazing. I have another offer at a company in Pleasanton that would be a 1.5 - 2 hour commute by public transit. It would be good money--enough that ( Read more... ) -

Today is the last day before my flight to San Francisco...tomorrow morning, 9am. I have decided to fly instead of drive because while the trip out there would be a true adventure, the logistics of arriving in a parking-unfriendly city with my life in my car and nowhere to put it just seemed too daunting. I'm giving very serious thought to moving to San Francisco. I really like Raleigh, and I love living with Chris, but now that I'm leaving the band I feel like there's never been a better time to make a huge change in my life. I'm at home visiting my Dad now and I'm happy to report that he's doing a lot better. His pain has become much more manageable and he's getting around a lot easier. He's lost a lot of weight since going through his heart attack and recent brain surgery and is actually around a really healthy weight for him...down from 210 to 180. It's been ( Read more... )
