18) PAID SUMMER INTERNSHIPS AT THE CLOISTERS - NYC - APPLICATION DEADLINE IS JANUARY 16, 2009 Each summer The Cloisters, a branch of The Metropolitan Museum of Art devoted to the art of medieval Europe, hires eight undergraduate college students to join the staff of its Education Office. Students who are interested in art and museum careers and enjoy working with children are encouraged to apply. The summer internships program will run from June 8 to August 7, 2009, M-F, 9-5:00. Each intern will receive an honorarium of $2,750. Application materials including academic transcripts, two recommendations and an essay are to be postmarked by January 16, 2009.
