I am making this post partly in hope of advice and partly in hope that I will remember to fill some of these gaps

When I want an icon like this, to convey a specific sentiment, I generally just cruise cat macros until I find one that fits and icon it. (Well, that wouldn't work for sympathy, but...yeah. Heh. I just use a pretty "hush" icon for sympathy most times.)

Hee. Well, that's one strategy. I don't think it fits me, exactly, but it would provide a lot of amusement on the way. ;)

Because I spend all my money on books and art supplies am poor, all I have are 15 icon spaces, so I must ration them carefully. It's irritating to find a gorgeous one, and then have to go, "Oh, dang. I don't have room for that one." :/

I haven't even filled up my icons, but I've got a ton that I've downloaded and never used....
