Ah. It did sound rather Tolkien-ish.

I wouldn't worry about the breathiness. It's not that noticable. What I noticed was that you had a good rhythm and didn't stumble over any of those long passages. ;)

"Goes merrily forever on" and "under hill and over hill" will probably make me think Tolkien even if I encounter them somewhere totally unrelated. If such exists. ;)

The rhythm kind of takes you over, really.
