Dogs always make me feel much better. I befriended my neighbor's pit bull when he was a puppy, and he loves me now. He looks like a monstrosity and is absolutely huge, but he's such a sweetheart. I go over to the fence and pat him for a while when I'm feeling grumpy, which always seems to help.

Dogs are such joyful things, it's easy for their enthusiasm to rub off on you. ^__^
