Pick a paragraph (or any passage less than 500 words) from any fanfic I've written, and comment to this post with that selection. One of the main things I remember thinking about in relation to this story, although it's more background than content, is that Asgard's treatment of kid!Loki is a terrible idea. It's... somewhat understandable, and maybe more so than I initially considered it. They've recently been through Ragnarok followed by a variety of other horrors many of which were his deliberate doing. Still, they are generally not trying to do anything definitive -- arguably they can't, since he might just come back to life again, and mostly the people who knock him around aren't aware of his current schemes let alone in a position to interfere with them. (I think I actually wrote this before the Christmas/Yuletide issue where the other kids in Asgard were punching him.) Their resentment is valid but they're taking it out on somebody who either doesn't remember causing it... or, if they're assuming it's all a trick, who is probably going to add it to a list of grudges ( ... )

What a fun idea! I'd play along but, um, I wrote most of your fics with you or got in-process commentary, so I know what you were thinking. ;)
