Wow, an acutal personal update. And it only took Spina Bifida to bring this on.

If I know anyhing, I know spinal pain, so good luck at getting it figured out.

I don't really do pain killers, so no. I would highly suggest a chiropractor though.

Also if you have muscle tension, instead of a relaxer like naprosen; there's a nutritional supplement called Proteo-Zyme. It works better and you don't have the possible ulcer and liver problems of muscle relaxers. The problem is, as you can probably tell by it's name; is that it's an enzyme which means it breaks down food. It's actually used for digest health as well. But that being the case you can't eat an hour and a half before or after taking it because if you have food on your stomach it'll go after the food instead of working to relax your muscles. So then you get into blocking out three hours of time, which you have to stay conscious of. It's worth it, just it's a hard routine to keep up with continuously.

wow, spina bifida? I guess your only real concern is if its genetic, can you have children that inherit it?

There is a few people where I work with it, and it can get really bad. I had no idea that a spine malformation can be life threatning and leave people unable to feed themselves, control their arms and alike, but Ive been told its due to the back not growing in childhood, the whole body grows out of kilter, crushing organs and nerves.

Well, I plan on having no kids to begin with but in the off chance I do, it would be good to know.
