# Day 07 - The most heartbreaking scene?
So, clearly the obvious choice would have been the episode Doomsday from Doctor Who, which yes, I'll post a picture of if only because it made me cry like a freaking retard when I watched it. It always does, I feel like I'm putting myself through hell when I watch that episode and will never quite understand why I do it, but anyway.
But this is the choice I've picked for the actual meme answer in itself.
Sam x Jack from Stargate: SG-1.
This is from the seventh season finale episode called Lost World Pt2.
The reason I find it so heartbreaking is because while he's not dead, he's also not really there anymore. Sam and Jack have had a long running likeness for one another through the whole series and can't act on it because of Air Force regulation, which is like, despairing. :|
But I digress, this is one of the more depressing scenes throughout the entire series for me, if only because of how badly Sam wants there to be a way to fix things from this situation. Jack has absorbed the knowledge from the Ancients, which is slowly killing him because it's too much for him to process, so in order to keep himself alive (because it would take too long to get him back to the SGC and work out a way to fix him), he does this instead. And, I'm not delving much because I'd rather not make a spoiler, assuming.
But! This is the end of the episode, as brought to you by youtube.
If you want to watch it, you really want to be at about 5.41(ish) in the video to get to the scene I'm talking about, unless you really want to watch the whole thing, in which case - power to you. It's a good episode, but depressing as hell in the end, and it's obviously not the whole episode so you might not get it, lolol.
