Well my headcanon (and that of several others from what I've seen on Tumblr) is that the 'old friend' who taught the Brig that 'science leads' is actually Liz, not the Doctor as he assumed.
Like someone else, I actually gasped aloud in joy when I realized who Kate Stewart actually was. What with Dinosaurs on a Spaceship and now this lovely little piece (yes, I had to turn off my brain a bit near the end, but still), I believe I may have forgiven Chibnall for "42" and "Cybervixen". Maybe.
My hubby pointed out some show we watched, of which Chibnall was the main writer, and noted how much we liked it. This was shortly after "42", which I loathed greatly, and I was surprised upon being reminded of Chibnall's ability to write in non-skiffical surroundings. (Can't even remember what the story was, although I think it had Peter Davison in it.)

The plot = meh. The VOs = meh. I'm quite over Amelia Pond, and by proxy Rory. *shrugs*

I love Rory - I'd happily watch him travelling with Eleven for another year. I've never liked adult!Amy as much as I loved wee!Amelia...

Jemma Redgrave was fab. I'm hoping to get hold of 'Bramwell' now - a lady doctor in the Victorian era? RIGHT up my street!
