If I were you I would postpone school but try and do some internships. Than way you can work and still try and figure out what you want to do. Plus, internships look really good on resumes, and would help you build up your personal worth/skill set.

Also, as far as a good paying job goes, even jobs like being a dog groomer can be well paying AND they can sometimes even pay for a two year school or other similar trade degree. Jobs that seem like jobs no one would want can sometimes be the ones that give you a big pay off with schooling and career development.

But It's up to you. I know that you can figure this out. You are a very determined person with a great work ethic.

I think your dad is just trying to look out for you and make sure that you don't fall and end up with nothing. As far as careers go, have you ever tried a career counselor? Sometimes they can really give you advice. Also, try exploring what possibilities there are in sub fields of subjects you like. For instance kids, maybe you could be a kid therapist or something. The reason I didn't want to go into physical therapy is because of how long school was, but a pt assisstant isn't that long expecially if you have your AA. I wouldn't giv up on school and even if you have just an AA, you can get a med paying job. I hate school and I just want to be done with it soon, so I know how you felt cause I went through every major in the book, but keep searching, some careers you don't even know exist. However, we're all here for you so don't give up
