Yukari must have left her make-up behind on accident, Ken realized as he picked up a small tube of lipstick lying on the lobby room's table. Slipping the cap off, curiously, he twisted its bottom until the wax (it was something like that, right?) in a shade of pink that made him wince spun out, and right away he couldn't understand the appeal of this stuff. What was so special about it that older girls needed, anyway?

There were occasionally good things that happened around here, Yukari came to know over time, no matter how many aspects of it frustrated her. For one, she was glad to have the opportunity to get to know him a little better.

All the small, tiny pup knew was that its albino friend was no longer around. Unfortunately, it couldn't understand that a shrine owner decided to take him away, off into the big city to keep his new owner company.
