[nothing had really been normal since Minato had woken up in Mayfield, all things considered. The mere fact that he had woken up somewhere after what had happened was a strange thing, to start off with, and then finding out that nearly half of your friends were there too... it was all a bit peculiar.

[Aigis was pretty accustomed to waking up in places she didn't remember falling asleep in. She had been built to withstand strange. Her very existence did not fell under the category of unexpected. It was just a part of who she was.

She seemed to have taken his return from the dead, or whatever their meeting had could been called, pretty well. But she didn't understand how--after finally understanding why he had died, why he had left them--how he could be here. Did it mean that Nyx was no longer sealed? ... She didn't like to think about it.

But sleep was something Aigis took comfort in. Fond dreams of her time with her friends pleased her, though the occasional nightmare since coming to Mayfield bothered her as well. She awoke from one of the former, in the passenger seat beside him. Straightening, she was silent for a moment, as she looked around. Inventory left her with one Minato, one her and a car.]

[it didn't seem to take Aigis long to wake up after Minato had, which he supposed was a good thing; he offered her a slightly twitch of the lips, a gesture that might've been seen as 'good morning' (even if it wasn't morning and even if it wasn't entirely good so far) from someone like him; who knew. upon her question, though, he reaches a hand out and tries the door handle, brow furrowing slightly when it it refuses to budge for him. he had never heard of a car that you could be locked in to instead of out.]

[After her own failed attempt to open her door, her voice became more urgent, and more worried.]

Are we still in that town?

[Not that she knew anywhere else they really could be. And not that Minato would know the answer. She just felt better asking it.]

[apparently, someone didn't want them to leave this car for awhile, and though he had absolutely no idea why that was, he had seen and heard of stranger things; it didn't worry him too much.]
