Someone may have done this, but I'm not sure. Here's my take on the heroes' high school extracurricular activities:
Nathan joined the student council at his prep school, and he was eventually elected president during his senior year. His parents urged him to go for it, so he did. He would have rather done something athletic, like run track or play soccer, but his parent told him that student government looked better on a college resume, so Nathan pursued that path like the dutiful son that he is.
Peter decided he wanted nothing to do with the student government snobs, so he joined the art club. He couldn't draw to save his life, but he figured out how to make some pretty interesting collages that managed to impress his friends. He hung them up in his room, though his parents thought they looked ridiculous. Peter didn't care what they thought. For the first time in his life, Peter felt that he didn't need his parents' influence to help him accomplish something.
Claire is/was a cheerleader. I think we already know enough about that.
Hiro's father forbade him from participating in after-school activities because he thought that Hiro should focus on his studies. Instead, Hiro just went over to Ando's house every afternoon and they read comic books and watched Star Trek reruns.
Matt held the distinguished position of being the only straight guy in his school's drama club, but only in the winter and spring, after football season ended. His more notable roles included: Guildenstern in Hamlet, Sonny in Grease, Ray-Bud in Dearly Departed, one of the gangsters in Kiss Me, Kate, and Benjamin Franklin in 1776.
Noah was a reporter for his school's newspaper. He started out doing the weekly lunch menu, but he eventually worked his way up and got his own column in which he introduced the rest of the student body to his special brand of sarcasm.
Tracy was the speech and debate team captain. She never, ever lost a meet because she was so knowledgable and intimidating. It was one of the reasons she got into politics. She was also homecoming queen her senior year, probably because her classmates were too afraid to vote against her.
Claude played rugby and he was really good, which made the middle- and upper-class kids on the team incredibly jealous, so they teased him relentlessly about being a working-class kid with five younger siblings, no father, and a mother who worked two jobs. He wanted to quit, but he loved rugby too much; sometimes, though, he wished he could disappear---and one day, he did.
Sylar worked on the sets for the school plays and earned a reputation for being really, really good at it. It didn't make him any more popular, though. He was just that talented, but really weird, quiet kid.
