Is Cuba's system somehow better than the US in your opinion? I probably know more about Cuba than the average American, but that's not really saying much, so I don't know enough to tell the truth from the US government propaganda.

Also, out of curiosity, what do you think of Lenin? Again I don't know all that much about him, but I'm in Moscow now and went to see him a few days ago, so I'm curious.

Good ol' Lenin. I think Lenin was a great man. All that I've read of him and by him points to him being a practical idealist. I like that.

I think, yes, Cuba has a better guiding ideology than the US, but who knows how things really are? I mean. i hear from yahoo news that Castro was a tyrant and silenced and killed everybody who didn't think like him. But I read his papers and his fellows published works, and I don't get that impression of the man at all... so who knows!

Hey! I'm back in Seattle now and I have no idea how to contact you other than here, so I'm leaving a comment.

You and Stina should come to my homecoming party this Friday. Details are here. Failing that you should shoot me an email at jonsabo (at) gmail.com and we should get together sometime soon.

Let me know!
