The smell of sweets filling the air is like the one thing to lead the young girl by the nose. Road didn't have a need for manners, or even knocking on the door of a stranger. Whatever she wanted she just went for, normal rules don't apply to her at all.
Dancing about on the tips of her toes, the young girl leaned over the collection of sweets and taking in the warmth and deliciousness wafting about fully. That cook wasn't so far physically, but she figured he was probably so deep in his own world to notice if a few things would go missing.
The second she laid her hands on any of his delectable creatures, the music cut out. It had been turned off but the man did not turn around, instead he merely kept at his work.
"It's generally in good manners to ask before you take," he responded cooly, "Or at least offer your compliments to the cook... Baker in this case."
"Yeah? Maybe compliments will be given once a taste is actually had" that calm and cool purr from the girl, leg crossed back behind the other by the ankle as her fingers danced just over the pastries.
Leaning on that closed umbrella she'd found it, that perfect sweet thing she'd settle on
"In that case, please help yourself young lady," a smile slid onto his face as he put the apple slices aside in a bowl. He began to roll out the batter. He was making apple tarts next which he hoped would be another success.
