Izaya, meanwhile, had gotten himself into a spot of trouble. Still, he decided it was a good idea to come up a different way, scaling the side of the building, scurrying up to the outside window.
There wasn't much of a balcony, but he was hanging halfway off the fire escape. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap.
He breathed against the glass, writing in "Masaomi~" in the steam.
The distant sound, while quiet, was persistant enough to raise the blond's attention from the tedious paperwork. He turned the direction of the sound to see Izaya standing there, with his trademark humor even in what may be a serious situation.
"Geeze!" Kida set the work aside and rushed over to the window, quickly opening it for the other, "What are you doing coming in that way?"
"Someone was following me! I have to keep in shape now that Shizzy-chan's not in town anymore." He shrugged, swinging his way in. His smile was bright and sharp, as he stretched once he was inside.
"Working? Besides! I like catching you off-guard."
Peering out the open window to see if Izaya was followed even if the route was more than unconventional to get up there.
"Yeah. I doubt anyone would want to follow you even if you had black mail on them. You're a scary man to get involved with," Closing the window and ignoring all those extra comments, "Did you gather anything?"
