It was so unusuäl t'update my webpage over break that I forgot t'update here! It wasn't much, but I had such a pleasant Solstice (observed) party that I quickly added th'official picture to the Sphere-Meetings Page. Be warned: Here thar be kissing! Thank goodness Kevin brought along so many Tuftsites or I don't know where I'd've been justified in ( Read more... )

Rutgers!!! You're applying to Rutgers? Does that mean that I get to visit you for 4 a.m. runs to the Grease Trucks and late brunches at Neubies with Ed's Omelettes loaded with cream cheese and 'martinis' at Clydz? Wow, I can't wait!

Part of the reason for Meg Ellyn's surprise is that the one day when she saw me was during a very brief periöd when I actually considered giving up on applyïng to graduäte school. Needless to say, I found the needed encouragement.

I mean, I know that by definition, sphere meetings are random, but that's really one of the most random gatherings I have ever seen! I don't think my presence would have made it any less cohesive!

I'm glad someöne thought so, because as the text above indicates, I didn't think of it as much of a sphere meeting. When I last cleaned up the sphere-meetings page, I removed all meetings where one sphere had more pariticpants than all the other ones combined. This one just happens t'have come along afterwards. As for randomness: it's a group of friends from George School and some guests, except that I had two dates: Ginger and Layla.

It is usual etiquette for those of us posting in the "anonymous" section to respond to what is written, ne c'est pas? To that end I wish you all the luck in the world with doting doctoral decisions, deepening delicious delinguicy. Oh yes there should have been something French in this paragraph... pity I can't think of anything.

I have, now, just, and discovered this webpage. What a surprise to someone who thinks, "what in the world is Tim O'Neill up to these days" so many times in the course of a year. The answer was bright shining clear - it is all written down and ready for me to hyperlink. I am happy that a random google of myself, by someone else (who googles him or herself? honestly! why never in a thousand sentences would I... the lie goes on), discovered this page and lead me back to you.

I will not fill up too much time, as I now have a lot of reading to do. I will say that I am in Manhattan. I will be checking this post. This will continue.

Be well...
Your friend and distant ghost,
Nick Roesler
