Pineapples don't grow on trees!!!
Before I begin, I have noticed that a few members are part of we_0wn_j00 to which I applied just yesterday. Of course, I found this lovely community through them. That said, I apologize in advance if any of my answers seem repeative to you. Many of the questions are quite similar and those answers are still fresh in my mind. Love me anyway. Please.

Favorites
Books: Suffer the Children - John Saul, While My Pretty One Sleeps - Mary Higgins Clark, Brave New World - Aldous Huxley, The Unbearable Lightness of Being - Milan Kundera, The Temple of the Golden Pavilion - Yukio Mishima. Of course, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. There are several others, but it's far too late to remember.
Authors: John Saul, Dean Koontz, Kelley Armstrong, Mary Higgins Clark, Anne Rice, John Grisham I tend to favor authors who write in the thriller/horror/suspense/mystery genres.
Movies: Gothika, Dead Zone, Memento, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Midnight Mass, Edward Scissorhands, Daredevil, Dirty Dancing, Benny & Joon, American History X, Friday the 13th, LOTR, POTC, Ninth Gate, Harry Potter, Interview with a Vampire, 21 grams, Amelie, Chocolat, Unbreakable, Rose Red, Jackass. Plus hundreds more. I'm a "bad movie" junkie. 80's/90's pre-tech horror/drama movies. I also just love really fucked up movies that you have to pay quite a bit attention to understand what's going on.
Television shows:Warning: Huge list ... Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Charmed, Smallville, Gilmore Girls, Judging Amy, Crossing Jordon, CSI + Spinoffs, Dead Like Me, Summerland, North Shore, The OC, Everwood, Soap Operas: All My Children and Passions, Antiques Roadshow, Arthur, Trading Spaces, Debbie Travis' Facelift, While You Were Out, What Not To Wear, The Osbournes, Nick & Jessica. There *might* be more, but I honestly can't think of anything else.
Clothing stores: Stitches, Suzy Sher, Simons, Buffalo Jeans, Roots, countless others. Er... I tend to roam a lot of stores when shopping for clothes. Mainly because it's difficult for me to find clothes that actually fit. I have wide shoulders and muscles (I know. A girl with muscles, scary), so sometimes finding tops is hard. But not as hard as find pants. I have a "generous ass". J-Lo if you want a visual reference. I need those stretchy material jeans so that the back doesn't stick out so much. I have a small waist so the regular kinds just look ridiculous on me.
Bands:Alkaline Trio, Hoobastank, the Clash, the Ramones, Sex Pistols, Rolling Stones, The Who, Incubus, SR-71, Maroon 5, Story of the Year, Ghost of the Robot, Our Lady Peace, Dream Theatre, the Cure, Linkin Park, and tons more.
Songs:Terribly sorry, but posting each song I'm in love with would just be too long and tedious on you. When I like a band/artist, I generally love all of their art. It's pretty much all the songs from the bands I listed earlier.
Slang: I don't really use that much slang in real life. I guess you could call using bad grammar as a sort of slang. Example: "Come with?" instead of "Do you want to come with me?". Really just an after effect of watching Buffy too much.
Colors:BLUE. Blue. Blue. Dark blue. Black. Red.
Drinks:Caffeine-Free Diet Pepsi, Labatt Blue Dark, Sour Puss, Tequila, Vodka. I have a high tolerance.
Plays: That I've seen in real life- Taming of the Shrew. I also so Love's Labour's Lost, but I didn't favor it too much.
Musicals: The King and I :DDD I saw all three in Stratford, Ontario. The King and I was by FAR the best. The set and costumes were just awesome. Amazing actors. I couldn't stop smiling through the whole thing. Too bad I wasn't allowed to take pictures >.<
Opinions
President Bush: I'm Canadian, so I'm pretty sure that I'm not aware of everything that has to do with Bush. But I do get a general idea. Aside from the constant errors (spelling, grammatical, finger pointing, laughing at his own jokes), I'd have to say that I don't like him very much. I understand his feeling to protect his country by attacking before being attacked, but I don't agree with the method that he did so. I'm positive that he just wants to follow in his fathers footsteps. Literally. And right now, innocent people are being held hostage, and decapitated every 72 hours if Bush doesn't pull out. His response? No. I hope he's compensating the families of those poor people. If I were American, I wouldn't re-elect him. He doesn't know very much about external affairs, leaders of other countries. He didn't even know obvious answers to Canadian issues! I'm tired of the "Blame Canada" routine. Just a few days ago, the US government released a statement saying that most of the drugs in the US were coming from Canada. Canada does some research and presents their statistics. 38% or so comes from Canada. Everything else is from Mexico and domestically grown. Come on. And that stupid Mad Cow scare. Months after everything was cleared, we were still banned. And then it happened to them XD Hahaha. Er... Enough talking, I suppose. I get riled up easily. And I did mention that I probably don't know the whole story, right?
Reality TV: Some of it is actually pretty good, but the recent/upcoming stuff? WHAT THE HELL? I fear that normal television shows are being drowned by these stupid reality tv shows. I hate those dating ones. I can only see so much pimping before I gag.
Abortion: Two sides. If a mother, who child was conceived in rape, then she should have every right to decide whether or not she wants to keep the child. Having a reminder of an act of violence is hard to have around and not to mention the pain the child would go through when finding out. I knew a girl who was a product of rape, and it scarred her to know the truth. The same would apply to babies that would be born with birth defects or a lower quality of life. On the other hand, if it's being using as a replacement for a contraceptive, it better be illegal.
Gay Marriage: All the power to them. They're human beings just like the rest of us. We have the right to marry, so should they. Just because they have a different sexual preference from the rest of society doesn't make them any less human.
Labels: I know everyone says that the hate they labels, and so do I, but it's always going to be around. It's part of the pop culture. Part of society's attempt to reduce individuality. I try not to use it, but sometimes it's just hard when you can't describe someone.
MTV: Most of the shows are crap. I hardly watch the station save for a couple of shows.
Michael Jackson: I respect him as an artist, but as a person? Not so much. I don't know the truth behind what everyone's been saying, but who would pay out 14 million (around) to settle a molestation case? If you're innocent, you wouldn't do that. And I know, people will say "Well, he just wanted it over with". That's bullshit. If I'm accused of such an act, you'd better expect I'm attacking back and I won't be making your life easier.
The Media: I love the media. I want to work in the media in the future. I'm studying Digital Imaging and Studio Arts. It's my life. Literally. However, the media itself is run by individuals with different opinions and views. So if you believe what you see/hear, you're believing in what they see and it might not necessarily be the truth.
The Meat Industry: Rawr. I'm a meat eater. Being anemic and having a body that rejects pills seals that deal. I need meat to survive. And it's damn tasty.
The Modeling Industry: Bah. *insert typical response now* They're always getting put down because they use 'skinny' models. And it's true. If only "regular" women were showcased a bit more, it wouldn't be such a problem. They're starting to remedy this and it's noticeable.
Fashion Magazines: Ha. I glance through them while getting my hair streaked, but that's about it. I'm not a big fan.
Suicide: Personally, and it may seem harsh, I see suicide as the easy way out. But it is a serious issue. I'm not discounting that. I have thought about it myself, but never really attempted because it didn't suit me right. I lived and fought my battles. Depression is a downer. (har har).
Religion: Religion is choice made by people, which causes no real harm to others, so I have no problem with it. I, myself, am Catholic by baptism, but not a practicing one. Yes, I share some of the beliefs that Catholics share, but not all of them. I consider myself spiritual rather than religious. I don't really believe in God and I don't feel the need to be part of an organized religion.
Downloading Music: I haven't downloaded music in years. Mainly for the fear that I'll be tracked down and sued. I'm probably going to pay those flat rates (lifetime membership and whatnot) and be able to download all the music I want.
Astrology:I don't follow it, but I do enjoy reading my horoscope XD
Death Penalty: I'm against it. Not because it's wrong to kill a murderer (believe in "an eye for an eye"), but because it costs the tax payers extra money to execute them. Execution usually doesn't happen until a few years after they're commited. Sometimes 8 years. And besides, keeping them in prison for the rest of their lives is a much harsher reminding than a few minutes of pain.
College: I'm currently in College and am in my third year. I mentionned earlier that I'm studying Digital Imaging and Studio Arts. I love every minute of my program. I used to be in IB Science, but transfered when I realized that (surprise) I hated science. It wasn't what I wanted to do. So I transfered and added two more years to my list. In two years, when I graduate, I'm heading off to University. Higher Education is a great thing.
Racism: Society as a whole likes to believe that it doesn't exist anymore. But it still does. I see it too often and it disgusts me. Too bad it's not illegal. And yes, I know, racial profiling is illegal.
Codeless LJers: Bah. It's their choice. They can do what they want.
Plastic Surgery: Depends on the issue. If it's to correct a disfigurement, go for it. To get bigger boobs? Argh. But it's their choice on how they want to spend their money. I probably wouldn't do it.
Premarital Sex: If you're responsible and mature enough for sex, it's your choice. If you're doing it because you think it'll make you cool, you've got another thing coming.
Profanity in Music: I don't really care either way. I'm so used to profanity that it's become an everyday issue. It doesn't bother me.
Most Overrated Band: Err .. I'm not really sure. It depends on a person's musical taste. I tend to like everything. Mostly.
Most Overrated Trend: Those mock-boxing shoes. And now, those mock-slipper shoes. Yuck.
Most Overrated Show: I couldn't say.
Most Overrated Movie: Same as my earlier response. I'm not very picky.
Most Overrated Singer: Hilary Duff. Ya, everyone says it, but obviously not often enough.
Situations -
If someone was in front of you in the check out line at the grocery store and they kept talking to the clerk what would you do?: I'd excuse myself and ask if the cash was closed. That'll usually give the hint to move it along. I don't mind the talking, just don't block the aisle.
You just found out your father has cancer and it's not going to be able to be cured. How do you react?: My father died last year suddenly on April 16 (deteriorated in a matter of a week), so I'm not quite prepared to answer this question. And my mother just had a quad bypass on the 6th. Emotions are raw right now. Sorry.
Self Image
Personality wise, what do you think your best quality is, and why?: I'm honest. Sometimes a bit blunt, but a little truth doesn't cause chronic pain. Also, when I'm doing something, I'm fully focused and I want to complete it. That's why I've been sitting here since 3 am writing out this questionnaire. It's 3:45 right now.
Personality wise, what do you think your biggest flaw is and why?: I'm a procrastinator. Anything I can do later, I'll do it later.
What do you feel you can add to the community?: My wit and sarcasm. Honesty and loyalty. Once I find something I like, I stick with it. And I happen to like this community.
What do you see yourself doing in 10 years?: Animation or Graphic Design. Hopefully married with children, but you never know what life is gonna throw at you.
Tell us something else about yourself that this survey hasn't covered: Hum... I'm a hopeless Spuffy fan (Spike/Buffy). I've exhausted all fic sites out there. I'm a fic whore >.< And a spoiler whore. I wrote this application before I actually joined the community. Rawr! I also demand love. Love me.
Oh, right. I was a cute ass baby. I don't know what happened o_O
Sorry for the lengthy answers, I tend to be indepth quite a bit. Thanks for taking the time to read it.
