I just walked home from the grocery store in the snow. I am inordinately happy.

Other happy things:

  • I bought a Yule / Christmas / Winterthing tree today! This is one of my most favorite parts of this time of year. I also bought cranberries to string for decorating it.
  • I saw a musical last night about the shooting of Andy Warhol called "POP!" It was a ( Read more... )

I put up my Winterthing tree yesterday too, it was fantastic. It's a little four-footer, and it's just sooo pretty in my living room.

I'm coming to see you next weekend if the offer's still open :) Dave's going to be on the west coast anyway, so the timing is perfect.

YAY!!! (I know, I rarely resort to such extreme punctuation, but a visit from you is totally worth it.) You are totally still welcome! Can you believe that this will be the first time the four of us have been together in the same place since Anne got married (and that hardly counts, considering how preoccupied Anne - and I, to a lesser extent - was)? It will be cozy in the apartment (heh), but we will have the best time ever. Call me! We'll work out details.

Love you!

Why, thank you. :) I love the Pretenders. It's one of my favorite holiday songs.

I can't believe that it's only two weeks until you get here! I'm very much looking forward to it. *grin*

All these visitors! I am the luckiest girl alive.

Wish I could take credit for Winterthing, but alas, I got it from the wise and clever rm_renfield.

I don't have much of a website yet (I'm working on it), but you can see one of my paintings at jeanashepard.com. It's called "How the West was appropriated (and where it got us)"; 6 feet by 4 ft, oil on panel. It's from a couple of years ago. The image's color is a little faded, but you can get the general idea. :)
