Fear not, for I am still alive!
Well. For the moment, at least. The end-of-semester rush is upon us once again, and I am quite busy-- though nowhere near as stressed as I thought I would be. Thank goodness.
Recent life things:
- Read far too much fic and not enough real books.
- Moved back in with my parents.
- Organized my desk.
- Attended a meetup, and made new Sherlockian friends! They're awesome people.
- Started writing again in earnest, thanks to one of said Sherlockian friends.
I owe so much to my friend Flor right now for giving me the courage to start writing again. Seriously, she deserves a round of applause. And a bunch of hugs. And cookies. And a kitten. ...Hopefully all of last year will be the last writing hiatus I ever take. :D
Also, I'm living with my family again, for better or for worse. I miss the independence. Ideally, I would love to have my own place, but being my grandmother's live-in caretaker nearly drove me insane-- she needs a lot of care, and she demands a lot of our time, even if she's very sweet as a person. I should have foreseen that. Anyway, hopefully this arrangement is a little bit better for my mental health, and for everyone in general.
That's about it. Off to work on projects and update the rec list now. <3
Hope all of you are doing well, too!
