weird pregnancy stuff...

Just like with Isaac's pregnancy, I'm starting to dislike the taste of apples. They start to have a cigarette-butt-like aftertaste, which is of course very unappealing. Haven't started to crave the fumes of gasoline yet, but then again I haven't been to the gas station very often.

Yes, the plan is that we will find out the morning of May 19th. However, I'm reading a little more about ultrasounds, and starting to think that having one isn't such a good idea. I will be making quite a few decisions about this birth (it is my body) so I'm leaving the U/S question up to Ben.

Here's one of the articles I was reading about ultrasounds that kind of scared me.

When do you come back from Italy? If you happen to be in SF on that day, you are welcome to come to the U/S if that interests you.

Ooh.. I just happen to be reading this today. Ultrasound tomorrow then? Maybe...?

Yup! U/S tomorrow, mostly to determine where the placenta is lying (due to our aforementioned birthing plans), and also for shits and giggles to find out the sex. Very excited. And I'm assuming our placenta is fine, I have no reason to believe that I'd have placenta previa (but I'm doing it for the midwife to keep her happy, in part to have a "medical professional" in the know about our plans and still on friendly terms with us).
