I'm thinking baby names. Here are some I've thought about, but I haven't shared them with Ben yet and we're not seriously considering any of them- just ones that I saw and liked. I believe all or most are of hebrew origin

NO, I'm not expecting. I just like to fill my spare time *cough* with thinking up names for a girl that I might never have. ;) (hope you don't mind my sarcasm)
double coolness. Babies of either sex are great, but I was really hoping for a girl, and according to the U/S I've got her (though nothing is for certain until she's born). She's due sometime in October (exact date isn't being disclosed because I don't want to answer an endless stream of "you haven't had your baby yet? are you overdue?"). Let's say early November. ;)
I know it was a silly question but I've not kept up with all my flist recently and didn't want to assume.
I remember when I found out my daughter was a girl while I was pregnant and since she was exactly what I'd been hoping for how happy I was. It made the shopping time more fun for sure!

You know, when I shop for clothing for my son, I can't help but notice how much cuter the girl's clothing is, and how there's significantly more selection too! I'm really not into the pink frilly stuff (I prefer natural colors myself, and will probably dress my daughter in them until she starts to care), but there would be one or two racks of boys' clothing, and the rest of the baby/toddler section devoted to girls'! I'm certainly looking forward to shopping for the baby clothes.
I love all your choices! I will say that Hannah is becoming VERY popular again (and "Skylar" is the new "Mikayla" around here... which is good because we like Mikaela).
I missed you at the GNO! I was really hoping to get to meet this mystery friend =)
I *almost* went. I was so looking forward to it, but then I realized that the GNO was on a monday, and my husband has class on monday evenings. The only other person who watches my son was invited to the GNO (and her going was dependent on finding childcare, so even if she didn't go I would have felt uncomfortable with asking her to watch my son). So anyway, I almost went. ;) At least I had a chance to see Karen before she went back to NM, though.
I love Olivia. I think it's been in the top five the last few years, though I'm not sure if you consider that an issue or not. Hope the pregnancy is still going well!
I like to stay away from the more popular names. I remember growing up with at least one or two other Rachels where ever I went to school, and I hated when someone would call out Rachel and I had to figure out who was being talked to. I think Ben didn't really like Olivia, but if he did like the name, I would still consider it despite its popularity.
Pregnancy is still going well- baby kicks quite a bit now!
