My parents were watching tv in the other room and I needed to come up with something for the film poster- so I went into the bathroom, stripped naked and played with the camera. This is the one I ended up using.

What cam corder is that? I've been looking around for some time, I don't want 'top of the line I need a loan to buy', but I want something decent for editing. Do you have any suggestions?

It's a Canon Elura 100- definitely not top of the line by any means, but affordable and works. Audio is poor quality, but you shouldn't be using the audio from your camera if you're making anything with merit. You'd be using mics and someone who actually knows how to use audio.

But you never really know how much someone can handle until it is too late. SO is it better to be gentle, and cause them to lose out on the experience?
