Yes, I've just returned from the dux. Contrary to the title of this piece, The Valves were not playing. Which is not a bad thing, thats right kids, its a good thing. Yes, I knew at least two songs (same as you) and all the other songs I heard I liked. Thomas:Parkes were good but Annabel was brilliant. And the Dux was quite full for a weekday, there was a bit of room to move around in but there were people all the way down to the back of the room and some people decide to open the exit doors to the road so more people could see (hearing was no problem) Bachelorette. In all the night was very kupo, even with Annabel’s minion trying to order people around. The subtle plugging of the e.p. worked because they were all gone, hell, even I was tempted to get one.

Brad, don’t forget, "...to Dunedin" "YEAH!!!" And they yelled it both times.

The Dux was hell packed. There was such a lack of places that the random guy subtly sidled in front of me to steal my corner of the stage spot when i had turned around to talk to you. Good thing he went to buy an EP or whatever. Very successful release party, selling out and all.

And yeah, in "i want to be your girlfriend", with the whole strap coming off and having to play it twice, with the second time more people joining in the YEAH!!! in the line about going to DUNEDIN for a gig was made even better by Annabel being unable to sing the rest of the verse because of laughter. Entertainment.
