i just watched like 30 videos on youtube of wisdom teeth extractions.
I always forget how like... not mechanical the human body is. like when i learned about the ovaries and how like the long stringy flesh rakes at the cysted ovary until the egg itt plucked off and travels down the fallopian tube... or when i had my toe surgery and they just

katie, if they give you what they gave me you're not going to remember or care.

I remember the sound of them cracking my tooth out of my jaw, and the only thought I remember having was, "oh, cool."

don't phase yourself out. Just try to enjoy whatever they give you (I think it was valium or something, it was glorious), even tho the next few days are going to be rough.

And as long as you take care of your mouth (salt water rinses etc.) and DON'T SMOKE you shouldn't get a dry socket. Just chill. It's really not too bad.

amen. i love laughing gas by the way... why didn't you opt for that??? it's kinda like shrooms but less visual and more tactile.. haha really katie it's almost pleasurable b/c of the laughing gas. it makes you feel like you are peeing though... and they tell you this but you are still like "holy shit i am peeing all over the place.. what the hell...somebody stop me." but you aren't and they top you off with oxygen which is euphoric as well.

i heard the tooth thing too but only once when i woke up. and it was more cool than scary.. definitely.

and yes the painkillers get rid of the pain effectively. the worst part is like the ride home where you are groggy and bleeding a bit. but it doesn't hurt... you just feel drunk and injured only the next morning you don't feel the pain b/c you have the drugs :)

lol that's what I was telling her! they started me on laughing gas, but it didn't do much besides make me not as nervous. whatever they injected me with, though...god help me when I get the name of it.
