gotta love the peruvians

Thanks to wikipedia I now know this about my country:

Peruvians consume an estimated 65 million guinea pigs each year, and the animal is so entrenched in the culture that one famous painting of the Last Supper in the main cathedral in Cusco shows Christ and the twelve disciples dining on guinea pig.[2] Leave a comment

Okay, in that Last Supper painting, they are not dining on the guinea pig. The dead, roasted guinea pig is sitting on a plate on the table. I've seen it. But Young Jeezy and his disciples aren't any where near eating it in that painting.

There's this one that's in Cusco: http://www.delange.org/CathedralCusco/Dsc00099.jpg

Then this one that's in la Catedral San Francisco in Lima: http://www.delange.org/SanFranciscoConventLima/Dsc00075.jpg

And I vaguely remember seeing one in Ecuador too, but I can't find it on google.

well usually when there is something dead and cooked and on a plate on a table with people sitting around it means that they are eating it

still cracks me up that they put that in there though
