Storylines!
Summer of Love: [Open. Male.] The prince that Chloe pushed away. Her ex-husband Jonathan was every little girl's dream boy; good looking, smart, forgiving, and Hallmark card romantic. Friends since grade school, he chased her through high school and caught her in college only to be left behind for Europe. When they found each other again, their marriage only lasted six months before she left him and England for America. Whether or not the two will run into each other again is indeed something she has often wondered if not dreaded; and even more so the consequences. Will he finally be bitter? Will he be just as forgiving as always? Will the two keep things platonic or try to figure out if the third time is a charm?
Love Shack: [Leslie Dickering] For two tales without written significant others, and for two rather dysfunctional people without time for normal relationships the two found in each other that physical intimacy that every human being craves. Meeting at the Pink Pussycat two years ago when she hired him on as a grave yard shift stock boy, they two started off as quick friends and after enough time dated once or twice; whether things simply weren't meant to be or the time just wasn't right neither had the emotional capacity for a serious relationship and decided to resign themselves back to their previous friendship with a few perks kept in the bargain. For two complete opposites they seem to mesh well together, Les keeps Chloe young at heart, and stokes the silliness that at times starts to fade with her approaching the big 3-0. In return Chloe keeps Les in line, and just slightly short of grounded...and despite his slacker like tendencies tries to keep him working.
Mesopotamia: [M/F Multi Openings] These are the Arabic Tale friends that Chloe has made, not so much a tale family but those people from her background that she genuinely appreciates spending time with and speaking to.
Songs for a Future Generation: [M/F Multi Openings] These are the regulars that frequent the Pink Pussycat and that she has since found an odd sort of repartee with or at least a genuine appreciation of their company past their patronage. [Neil McLaughlin, Dawn Coyote...]
Runnin' Around: [M/F Multi Openings] These are those casual flings that Chloe finds herself in every so often. More often then not the don't go past a rather clean break and a decision to be friends. But sometimes they open up further opportunities and grow into something more.
Private Idaho: [M/F Multi Openings] These are the wierdos, freaks, and geeks she calls her friends. They keep her laughing and smiling even when she finds herself at her most unsure points in where her life is going. Some of them have come from Runnin' Around and Songs for a Future Generation, others she's met by accident. [Conrad Mallory, Deja Meadows, Dylan Hurst, Luna Jones.]
She Breaks for Rainbows: [Harrison Tweed.] This is that one best friend that is just uncannily able to make her smile no matter what, that Chloe turns to for all of her problems even if she doubts they can help, they can at least make her feel better. Due to this bright and shiny best friend, Chloe is exceptionally protective of them for fear of them being corrupted.
Rock Lobster: [M/F Multi Openings] These people consistently takes Chloe by surprise, whether by disproving an original impression formed about them or by making frequent changes.
Roam: [M/F Multi Openings] These are her colleagues and acquaintances from abroad from Chloe gets to be brainy and intellectual with. They have the sort of understanding of each other that most people that aren't involved in their fields could hardly grasp. [Byron Hale, Quentin Ambrose]
Revolution Earth: [M/F Open] Though Chloe has seemingly given up hope in the idea of true love, every so often she gets that niggling feeling for someone that she can ultimately call her own and feel protected and possessed by. This person should be strong willed and challenging; preferably creative and with a mutual hatred for Hallmark romance.
